Sign #1: Longer Than Usual Muscle Soreness

Every single person on earth who tried some form of workout has faced muscle soreness. It’s our body’s natural reaction to heal the torn muscles caused by the exercise. Especially on the first few days of the workout routine, muscle soreness is very common.

But if you’re experiencing prolonged muscle soreness, that’s when you know you are overdoing yourself. It means your body is not getting the time to heal itself between workout sessions. Ease of the pedal to let your body recover.

When we work out, the blood flow increases across the body to carry the nutrients to the muscles. If our cardiovascular system is not getting enough rest, you might be in for some major damage. The arteries might widen over time. The hearth loses its natural rhythm and you might end up with a weak heart.

Decreased Libido

Our libido, especially in men, is controlled by the testosterone hormone. We burn testosterone when we work out. It’s not a bad thing because our body produces even more testosterone to suffice for the burn.

Things go wrong when we workout too much. Another hormone called cortisol is released when we’re out of testosterone, and it’s seriously harmful to our libido. Overtraining is one of the most common causes of declining libido in men.
