It\u2019s our body\u2019s natural reaction to heal the torn muscles caused by the exercise. Especially on the first few days of the workout routine, muscle soreness is very common.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if you\u2019re experiencing prolonged muscle soreness, that\u2019s when you know you are overdoing yourself. It means your body is not getting the time to heal itself between workout sessions. If our cardiovascular system is not getting enough rest, you might be in for some major damage. The arteries might widen over time. The hearth loses its natural rhythm and you might end up with a weak heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>Decreased Libido<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Our libido, especially in men, is controlled by the testosterone hormone. We burn testosterone when we work out. It\u2019s not a bad thing because our body produces even more testosterone to suffice for the burn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Things go wrong when we workout too much. Another hormone called cortisol is released when we\u2019re out of testosterone, and it\u2019s seriously harmful to our libido. Overtraining is one of the most common causes of declining libido in men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>Take Away<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no doubt working out is good for us. When paired with intermittent fasting, it can bring in some extraordinary results.
